Key risks
The following risks may be materially relevant
but may not always be adequately captured by the summary risk indicator and may cause additional loss:
Risks linked to the use of derivatives and financial techniques: Derivatives and other financial techniques used substantially to obtain, increase or reduce exposure to assets may be difficult to value, may generate leverage, and may not yield the anticipated results. All of this could be detrimental to fund performance.
Concentration risk: To the extent that the fund's investments are concentrated in a particular country, market, industry, sector or asset class, the fund may be susceptible to loss due to adverse occurrences affecting that country, market, industry, sector or asset class.
Active management risk: Active management relies on anticipating various market developments and/or security selection. There is a risk at any given time that the fund may not be invested in the highest-performing markets or securities. The fund's net asset value may also decline.
Highlights
LO Funds (CH) – Swiss Equity Income is an actively managed portfolio. Its long-only Swiss equity strategy has been in place since December 2025. The Sub-Fund invests in equity and equity related securities issued by companies incorporated or exercising a prominent part of their business activities in Switzerland. It seeks to outperform Swiss Market index (SMI)® (registered trademark of SIX Swiss Exchange AG) over the long-term. The investment approach applied by the Investment Manager to select securities is based on proprietary responsible criteria which includes social, environmental, ethical and/or corporate governance factors. The Investment Manager also implements a covered call option strategy (selling of call options on the above-mentioned index or on the underlying stocks held by the sub-fund’s portfolio) aiming at generating additional income for the sub-Fund. The Investment Manager is authorized to use financial derivative instruments for hedging purposes, for EPM, as well as part of the investment strategy. Risk management is performed by the fund managers at a portfolio level, while independent teams manage investment risks and monitor operational risks. The strategy does not pursue a sustainability goal. However, it integrates environmental, social and/or governance ("ESG") considerations as part of its investment process seeking to identify ESG-related risks.
